Abstract

Islam as the religion of Al-Salaam (salvation) highly upholds human values, one of the human values that cannot be separated from Islam is to be a figure who spreads mercy (love) to mankind regardless of background differences. There are several hadiths that point to the concept of grace and can be used as a life guide for Muslims in being religious in the midst of diversity. The purpose of this research was to analyze how the concept of grace in Islam based on the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad which reads "innamā anā rahmatun muhdātun," The research result states that the concept of mercy based on the hadith that grace in Islam was not limited to spreading compassion to anyone. But more than that, the mercy of Islam touches the joints of wider society. Islam does not invite someone to follow its teachings by force. Rahmat is also interpreted as an effort to pray for the good of others and to respect and respect all forms of differences.

Abstract

Hadith, as commonly defined by hadith scholars (al-muhddithun), is a record of the Prophet’s sayings, deeds and tacit approval. Even it may include the description of the Prophet’s features and physical appearance. Hadith contains details of faith and doctrine, ritual issues, ethics and many others which are related with the contents of the Quran and on the Quranic verses as well. This article is aimed at assessing the validity of a hadith on the excellence of al-Fatihah, the opening chapter of the Quran. In doing so, this article presents the chain of transmission of the hadith by assessing the details of all persons involved in relating the hadith.  It is found the hadith assessed is reliable and may be relevant for Muslims to use as a source for their religious activities.

Abstract

Religious moderation is a tolerant attitude and recognizes compromise in seeing differences. This research makes an inventory of the hadiths related to religious moderation with the word وسطيه which means moderation. From the search for كتب التسعة, the word وسطيه was not found, but there are several words that are equivalent to وسطيه namely القصد and الاعتدال. The word القصد is mentioned 6 times. Meanwhile, the word الاعتدال is only found once in the 255th Hadith Tirmidhi. The principle of wasathiyah described in the hadith is Al-khairiyah (chosen or best), Al-‘adalah (fair attitude), Al-Tawazun (balance). Attasamuh (tolerant). Abstract

The majority of muslims view hadith as the root of islam's second teaching after the Qur'an. The focus of this research is on the hadith review in the perspective of sunni and shi'ah. This analysis concluded that the two peoples agreed that hadith was used as the root of the second law after the Qur'an. But in each of these people, there are differences about the acceptance of hadiths that can be used as arguments. The Sunnis define hadith is everything is encoded by Rasullulah SAW both in its words, deeds and statutes. Then the Shi'ite people define hadith as sunnah, because for them the hadith is not just a speech, an act or a statute of Rasullulah SAW alone. In the classification of hadith, based on its quality Sunni divides hadith into hadith saheeh, hadith hasan, and hadith dha'if. While shia divide hadith into hadith saheeh, hadith hasan, hadith muwassaq, and hadith dha'aif. Although the two have quite strong differences, but in the real world man will still need a hadith in his life. Then in saheeh. Sunnis consider that companions have a just nature and Shi'a considers that companions are wicked human beings, for for them a friendship with the Prophet SAW does not determine that man has a nature in kindness and honesty.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengenal salah satu karya terbaru ulama Indonesia dalam bidang hadis, yaitu kitab al-Arba’un al-Buldaniyyah karya Abdus Salam al-Naqari. Pengambilan karya tokoh tersebut tentu bermanfaat untuk mengenalkan bagaimana kayanya Indonesia akan kitab-kitab hadis yang ditulis oleh ulamanya. Untuk itu, artikel ini mengangkat beberapa persoalan penting mengenai objek yang dibahas. Pertama, artikel ini membahas beragam kitab hadis model arba’un karya ulama Nusantara secara umum. Kedua, pembahasan difokuskan pada diri al-Naqari sebagai penulis kitab hadis dikaji. Dan terakhir, artikel ini berfokus pada kitab al-Arba’un al-Buldaniyyah milik al-Naqari, tentang latar belakang penulisan, metodologi, serta sistematikanya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan model kajian kepustakaan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara dokumentasi, sehingga data-data yang ada bersumber dari berbagai jenis media cetak. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa Nusantara atau Indonesia memiliki banyak karya hadis model arba’un, termasuk milik al-Naqari. Al-Naqari merupakan seorang alim dari keluarga yang cinta agama Islam. Sedangkan al-Arba’un miliknya menggunakan metode dan sistematikanya tersendiri.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengungkapkan keutamaan salat lail yang menjadi bagian dari pembentukan akhlak dengan menyorot beberapa hadis yang berhubungan dengan keutamaan salat lail dan bertujuan untuk mengenal kualitas hadis tentang salat lail dan implikasi dari pelaksanaan secara rutinitas. Tulisan ini merupakan bentuk penelitian hadis maudu’i yang menggunakan pendekatan historis, normatif, linguistik. Dari hasil kajian ini terlihat bahwa kualitas hadis salat lail masuk dalam kategorisasi sahih dan dapat dijadikan sebagai hujja dan tentu implikasi dari pelaksanaan secara rutinitas mampu membentuk karakter dan kepribadian individu yang terungkap dari beberapa kondisi kejiwaan yang dirasakan.
